Subway's Gluten-Free Pilot Program

I knew Subway was launching a "new" pilot program to carry gluten-free sandwiches in Texas and wanted to know if any other areas were carrying them yet. I had seen on "Undercover Boss" that they were planning on launching in other areas but this is the response I received when I asked Subway about it: 

 

Dear Ms. Paige:

Thank you for taking the time to contact us with your inquiry.

SUBWAY® Restaurants are always researching and introducing new products as well as improving on the products that are presently being offered.

In response to your question about Gluten Free Bread. We are currently testing Gluten Free Bread products in some areas of Texas.

However at this time we do not have enough information to introduce such a product.

Again, I appreciate you taking the time to contact us.

I then wrote back to her and asked what "However at this time we do not have enough information to introduce such a product" meant and have not received a response as yet.  I will update you when I do. From their site, it looks like they are offering gluten-free sandwiches and brownies. I don't live in Texas so I can't review the gluten-free options for you. 

 

Would be happy to hear what any of you think that have been to one that is offering gluten-free options.
